everyday my work is searching new customer who are interested rain water harvesting there premises this is my passion and job I happy to work with on water. some times people are not ware about water this very difficult my job one person interested on RWH  I convinced him and his wife they are very interested on RWH one day I went there house and talk with my project how to rain water harvesting and how to conserve water. but they have full sufficient water but they want in future. this kind of people very rear in our India . I told them our budget . they are agree our project . I took four day implementation this project .

there house 1200 Sq feet . roof area in Hubli Dharwad rain is 997. per year we cullect 60420 liters from our Roof its free from nature . we don’t need pay this water . its very sweet and Drinkable water . but it is one time investment sam

then I find water source

one story of siddarampoor Bellary district one village. in this village west side one big hill is there in this hill 70% of stones. on the hill water continually coming from up stare in the  hill
every day people are using this water but it is thousands of year not dry water.
how happen this kind of story. I asked locale people  regarding water they saying different different story.then i went and saw the hill when rain is coming all water will percolate around hill. then its given through one small Nala .

This is dry bore well its six acre area they are four bore well digging this land but not getting water  because in this village 90% bore well are dried.  thing is  70% of  land stone mixed land . water percolation rate is very low in this area.

people they know only how water collect but they don’t know how water percolate that is problem our farmer  .if one bore well not getting water .they planing one more bore well . I saw all of them land i promise them I will do Bore well recharge.

Why Need?

In India average annual rain fall is 800 to 1000 millimeter. Whereas it is 400 to 600 millimeters in Karnataka. Large amount of rain water flows down to oceans, which is only the source of drinking water available every year.

In India total internal water resources in 2007 was 1261 Billion qubic meter (BQM), it is   calculated per capita 1622 BQM. Whereas it was 1952.87 BQM in the year 1952 and it    decreased to 1711.21BQM in the year 1995. In Karnataka specifically in Dharwad district average rain fall is 800 to 930 millimeter. All this data show critical problem of drinking water in future and Only solution is ‘STORE RAIN WATER’ to save the earth.

1) Roof top rainwater harvesting:

Roof tops of houses are excellent collection center for rainwater. If  water properly diverted from rooftops and used for artificial recharge, rainwater will augment the groundwater table to a sufficient extent.

In rooftop harvesting , the roof is connected to the well through a network of pipes and filtering system.

Benefits:

• Environmental and easy approach for water        requirements.
• Cost Effective and easy to maintain
• It can also used for drinking and other purpose also.
• To supplement domestic water requirement during summer.

) Percolation Pit/ Soak pit:

This method directly diverts rainwater into an aquifer, a percolation pit is made. This structure is covered with a perforated concrete slab.

10X10X10 pit percolates 4lakh liters of water per year. This will increase the ground water table.

) Direct bore well recharge:

This is an other method of rainwater harvesting. In this rainwater will collect in one place and after  filtration the water is directly sent to bore well by   casing pipe.

This gives immediate and effective method of rainwater harvesting

4) Non– Irrigation methods

This method is used in stony land and hard field. Trenches and  soak pits are constructed in land and that will percolate rainwater and then it remove moisture  from stored water.

3X4X12 feet trench will percolate 12lakh liter per year.

From the new bus stand we got the Sirsi bus. Next we reached Sirsi at 08 o’clock. In Sirsi we got the Talguppa bus.  When we reached Talaguppa, then we arranged two vehicles to Honnemaradu.

Next we finished brunch food, and then Swami and Nomito invited our fellows to listen to instruction about the forest and river. Then we went for a transect walk, on which we saw Bhimajja Hill. Nomito madam told us that the Sharavati River is 70 miles long and is back water.  The dam was built in 1960, 3 km away from Honnemaradu.   We saw Korigudda, Neharu farm, Malananda home and Arrikots (a village).  In this village, there is always ½ km between houses; a total of six house is there.  When we returned from the hill, she showed us the campfire place.

 Before swimming they gave us life jackets.  All fellows wore them.  They gave some instruction about swimming, and we swam happily. It was a good experience.  Next we ate tiffin.  Nomito told us how to build a camp fire.

Then at 7 o’clock we went to prepare the camp fire.  At the camp fire, we did singing and dancing also. Then we had night dinner.  Nomito madam told us the next day’s program.

Then they gave instruction about where we sleep.  We went to sleep at 10 o’clock.
